Kuwait University, represented by the Security and Safety Administration, has launched a car repair service via a mobile workshop to serve its affiliates, starting Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Sabah Al-Salem University City. This is part of its efforts to provide supportive services that contribute to facilitating the affairs of the university's affiliates.
In this context, the Director of the Security and Safety Administration at Kuwait University, Mr. Yusuf Al-Khamees, stated that the university is the first educational institution in the State of Kuwait to launch such a mobile service to serve students, academic and administrative staff, with a special discount. This is achieved through a contract with a company specialized in car repair and maintenance, which is an initiative that embodies Kuwait University's commitment to providing a supportive educational and work environment by offering quality services that contribute to raising comfort levels and enhancing safety factors for all university affiliates.
Al-Khamees explained that the services provided by the mobile workshop include tire repair and replacement, tire balancing, oil change, battery replacement, brake maintenance, in addition to a towing service for pulling cars. He emphasized the necessity of presenting the university ID when requesting the service to benefit from the designated discount.
It is worth noting that the service hours extend from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, and to request the service, one can contact the number (50551111). The university has designated the number (24983333) as an emergency line for the Security and Safety Administration
