As part of the ongoing efforts by the Department of Security and Safety to serve the university community and improve the services provided to our male and female students and university staff, the necessary procedures, approvals, and measures were taken in accordance with the regulations and laws. Four golf carts were received for use in transporting students between university buildings and facilities within Sabah Al-Salem University City. This was done in collaboration and coordination with the university’s working centers and relevant entities (I&M Trading and Contracting Company), on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Representatives from the aforementioned company provided a detailed explanation of the vehicles and trained the supervisory staff of the Department of Security and Safety on how to use them and the requirements to follow when driving the carts.

This comes as part of the continuous efforts by the Department of Security and Safety to update the services provided, saving time and effort for campus members and visitors, and ensuring the quality of services. This is especially important considering the urban expansion of Sabah Al-Salem University City, which covers an area of 6 million square meters, making it one of the largest educational centers with substantial (human and construction) clusters. This places a responsibility on us to continually provide the best services related to advancing the educational process, enhancing the university’s reputation, and offering the best services to its visitors, while also improving the level of services provided to all members of Kuwait University.
